DETAILED PERSONALITY
Ren is very curious, and has an insatiable thirst for knowledge. She wants to know how everything works, and will do anything in her power to find out.
She is also incredibly sadistic, a trait that works with the above in frightening ways. She is morally bankrupt, lacks the capacity for empathy or sympathy, and is borderline-obsessed with inflicting pain, misery, and suffering upon others, especially her patients.
She is very precise, calculating, and likes things neat and orderly. She does not like to expend unnecessary effort, or waste materials. Organized.
A perfectionist, Ren does not tolerate subpar jobs, nor does she accept failure, both from herself and from those around her.
Blunt as hell.
Really ******** intimidating. Her persona is pretty much overflowing with bad vibes, and only the dumbest or most naive of people are dulled to it (see: Rima).
REN'S PAST
Science had always been Ren's favourite subject. As soon as she could read, she was reading books about every kind of science on which she could get her hands, even ones that were grade levels ahead of her.
It was also around this time she discovered a morbid interest in the torment of animals, oftentimes dissecting them in the forest surrounding her hometown, or seeing their reactions to various substances (one of the most depressing instances of her childhood was finding out that birds do not actually explode when fed alka seltzer). With no siblings, and parents who were constantly out at work, her experiments were relatively easy to get away with.
As she got older, she became a little more controlled, and tried to leave her destructive activities in the past. She became a doctor in order to channel her rampant desires to cut living things up into something productive, finding work at the medical facility near her town...
... and upon learning that being employed at this certain facility not only guaranteed she'd get to cut up people, but she'd get to do all manner of other cruel and unusual things to them as well, she immediately threw away any sort of halfhearted desire to 'become a better person.'
RELATIONSHIPS
- She finds Rima a bit annoying, but mostly harmless, like a hyperactive child or small, yappy dog. They tend to work together for tasks that require two people.
Finds Lucas very irritating, and thinks he needs to shape up or get the hell out.
Gets on Elliott's case a lot. She has noticed that he seems uncomfortable in the environment, and thus tries to force him into doing some of the more gruesome tasks for kicks.
Is oftentimes the one who makes sure Schrient doesn't get out of hand.
OTHER s**t
Guilty of carrying out unauthorized experiments with the facility's funds for no reason other than to satisfy her own curiousity. They don't get onto her, though, because she is the company favourite.
Fed her neighbour's kitten Draino when she was a kid and killed it. She then cut it up and made it look like it had been attacked by a dog. To this day nobody knows she did it.
It's rumoured she bats for the other team, though nobody's sure if she's even capable of love in the first place.
She speaks with a slight monotone.
