This story is about an orphan girl(age 15) named Maiko whose life was always filled with disappointment and strife.But when her first day of high school comes, she is determined to change her life for the better.She makes friends, finds the perfect boyfriend, and even gains the respect of the whole school by teaching all the bullies there a lesson by they won't soon forget!Maiko finally has the life of her dreams(for a couple of weeks...)until a handsome stranger starts to come to school and show interest in her.He is a trouble making philanderer named Ray Kushikawa who has the worse reputation(so far) and will say and do anything to get a girl in the bedroom!(He had sex with every single girl in the school, even the seniors and he's a freshman.)Every time Maiko and Ray are alone,He warns her that her boyfriend,Tachiro, is playing her. To everyone else, it's his worse lie yet but to Maiko his words worry her to an extent.(2 reasons why they think he would tell her this: 1)He and Tachiro are sworn enemies and 2) Maiko is the only girl he hasn't had sex with yet.)Everyone says he's just lying to get in her jeans...but is he really?
