I am finally back on the role playing scene.
I am VERY happy to have one of my favorite role plays- Your Worst Nightmare, more specifically, a Yu Yu Hakusho role play. And you know who I got?
Kurama.
I GOT KUR-RAH-MAH
Now, at the end of the previous role play (we restarted xD ) I had replaced the person who had previously been playing Kurama. Karsuki was her name. And she had her way of playing Kurama. Not to mention that she'd also played Kurama in the prequel to the role play. So when I got Kurama I decided that I would find a midpoint between how I played Kurama and how she did it because our versions were so different that I felt if I went in with MY Kurama the transition would be much, much rougher and just... bad.
Let me tell you it just didn't work out so well. My posts just didn't flow at all and I had trouble writing them. It was kind of like trying to stick a donkey through a needle hole. xDD
And with this new role play I have been given the position as Kurama again and I've decided simply to play him as I play him. And man, does it feel SO much better. My posts came out very well, they flowed out... it was really awesome....
And, despite doing what the other characters DIDN'T want Kurama to do, I seem to have gotten good reception. I really don't know how well I play Kurama... but I seem to have gotten a decent score so far. sweatdrop
I am excited to be in the ring as Kurama again! ^^ I'll have to be sure to watch a few clips that have Kurama in them once a week or so. I'd like to stay in touch with his character, y'know? @_@ It's not often that I play canon characters (in fact I tend to avoid series based role plays altogether, except for Dynasty Warriors and Yu Yu Hakusho) but when I do I try to take some time every so often to play or watch whatever game or show they're in so I can see how they act. 'Cause if I don't I do this thing where I lose track of what I'm doing and only display certain qualities and totally drop others. >_< Wanna avoid that.
And I DO want to write a poem or a story... I just don't know what the subject should be.... /sighs
