Heaven
Gino? Gino? Wake up sweetie...
Gino opened his eyes a little and was greeted by a white light. The light didn't hurt his eyes though. He opened them wider and gasped. Oh my God. Is that...
"Mommy?" he asked in a mixture of confusion and blinding happiness. Gino's mother giggled. Its sound echoed slightly and then disappered.
"Yes, Gino. I'm here." She smiled and cupped his face in her hands. Gino smiled and wrapped his arms around her. He hadn't seen her since he was a toddler. She was soft and warm and smelled like honey. Gino's mother held him tightly and kissed the top of his head.
"You can't stay here." she said quietly. Her voice echoed again. Gino looked at his mothers face.
"What? Why?" he asked, confused. She smiled.
"It's not your time."
"But...I want to stay. I want to stay with you." Gino was starting to cry. His mother sighed.
"I know sweetie. But you have to go."
"But Mommy..." His mother put her hand over his mouth.
"Shhh. I love you Gino, honey." She kissed the tip of his nose and pushed him backwards. Gino felt himself falling. His mothers body was slowly shrinking away.
"Mommy!"
Gino? Oh my God! Gino, wake up! Wake up please!
Gino opened his eyes. He was in a soft bed and surronded by smiling happy people. But he had never felt so sad.
The End
