	My Anime/Manga Review: Full Moon Wo Sagashite


My anime/manga review today is on Full Moon Wo Sagashite( in english Searching for the Full Moon), a manga series by Arina Tanemura. It was adapted into a 52-episode anime from April 6, 2002-March 29, 2003. Here is the summary(from anime news network): <img src="http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p12/mitsugawamiyuki/FullMoon.jpg" border="0" alt="Full Moon wo sagashite Pictures, Images and Photos"/> Twelve-year-old Mitsuki Kouyama is diagnosed with a malignant tumor in her throat. When she was 10, Mitsuki made a promise to the boy she loves, Eichi, that she would one day become a singer, but her illness made singing impossible. To make matters even worse, two angels of death(shinigami), Takuto and Meroko, appeared to Mitsuki and told her that she only has one year left to live. This news motivated for Mitsuki to fulfill her dreams. With the help of Takuto and Meroko, Mitsuki transforms into a 16-year-old alter ego, Full Moon, whose throat is much healthier, to go on her quest to become a professional singer so she can be reunited with Eichi before her time runs out. My comment: Full Moon Wo Sagshite is a very good anime and manga. It made me cry. I love full moon's songs in the anime. My favorite song is...well....uh....ALL OF THEM! The only thing that I didn't like about the anime was the ending. Im not gonna say what happens because there could be those who havent seen the anime or havent finnished it and i dont want to spoil it. All i can say about the ending is that they should have worked a bit more on the ending. In my opinion the manga's ending is better. My ratings: This is out of 5 hearts heart The storyline: heart heart heart heart out of 5 The art and creativity: heart heart heart heart heart out of 5 The originality: heart heart heart heart heart out of 5. This is out of 10 hearts heart My overall rating of Full Moon Wo Sagashite by Arina Tanemura is a heart heart heart heart heart heart heart heart heart out of 10 I recommend people to watch this anime.
