On November 2nd i recieved a personal message from someone claiming to be an administrator, saying that i was supposeabley "impersonating an administarator" and that if i didn't give up my password and username and such, i would be banned. Not knowing otherwise, i gave out my account information and they deleted my avatar, changed the sex and changed my username. My girlfriend (kristalstjean) realized that something was fishy, and she found comments on my profile page of that account (MichaelPuro) from people claiming that I was trying to get THEIR passwords. Kristal contacted one of those people and after finding out that it was a scame, she managed to get my password, get on that account, and change my username and password. I ended up losing to items (combined worth about 8.5k) and escentially another 10k because thats what cost me to change my name. I then started receiving more personal messages from people saying that they have reported me because "i sent" them pms trying to get their information (this was actually the person who hacked me's doing-they were trying to get more people into this scam). I contacted them telling them the story, some of them beleived me-one did not. But oh well. I was apparently reported at least 3 or 4 times, and for about 2 days i still had that account, but then i got banned because i was "trying to get people to give up their password" -.-
Luckily, ive had this account for about 2 years-I never used it though. Kristal retreived the password and such for it, and started to get me back to how i was on my old account. i have some of my items back-not all, but i should have all my items back hopefully soon.
PLEASE-never give out your password or this may happen!!!!
