Oh. That's so horrible. I can't imagine what it must be like to have your home torn apart like that. Are they reimbursing everyone for all of the damage? I really don't know much about that part of it all.

hey you got to look on the bright side of this disaster... i know im out of place and new but i belive that theres a good event that always comes after a bad one... that how you enjoy life you just cant have everything good happen to you in life because... then you never really experiance joy... all im saying is that you should be happy that it was your house that lost to katerina and not someones soul...

Unfortunatly we didn't have flood insurance and FEMA screwed up on our application, so we probably won't see a penny for our losses.
And no problem Nonson.... I'm calling you Dale for short.
And for the hell I've gone through the past couple weeks, some major joy better be headed my way.
EDIT: Yes, back home... with screaming children... are you sure you want to come back here?

That's bloody stupid. They should reimburse people no matter what! It's not like you REALLY could have prepared for it! It's not like it's been planned, to the second, for a year.

Who would do the reimbursing? That's why most people have insurance, it just happens that our area had never before flooded so we didn't... Which means I have to get a job... T.T

The government can afford to stop some of the funding with the stupid little crap they do that no one hears about to take care of it's people. Or the senate and congress can use the extra money they're getting to leave the gas companies alone with making their own prices.
I'd help, but I haven't even gotten my first paycheck from my job yet and even then my dad's wanting a bunch for insurance that I don't even have yet.

I agree... they have been helping people with FEMA and Red Cross... but there has been a lot of fraud going on... so the FEMA account has been frozen, so who knows if we will see any of that money.
As for Red Cross, my parents have managed to get a Target gift card for $2000 to help buy clothes and things, they bought me some new shoes and clothes and stuff.
