For those of you who were wondering, my birthday ((sweet 16!!!)) was awesome. For starters, a few days prior to the actual date, my mother decided to get me a pet bird like I've been wanting for awhine. So, as of this day, I have had Devon the girl parakeet for a week, I believe. She's so cute. Then, my dad came home the day before my birthday from his business thing in BetHELL. Actually, it's bethel, but we call it beth-hell. lol, I just wrote that three different ways! haha, anyway, My dad came home, and he and my mom went shopping for "my dog" and my gifts that night were the complete set of the Twilight series, which was great, I'm already at the third one. AND I got a set of headphones. It confused me. Then my dad tells my mom that she should give me something to plug the headphones into, so she brings out a huge box and I open it, and it was... a PINK laptop!!! I was super excited! Now I don't have to fight with the sibs for computer time! I can listen to my music and roleplay and all that good stuff in the comfort of my bed! It was great. Actually, that's exactly what I'm doing right now, lol.
So I opened my presents after the school homecoming football game, which was tons of fun. I almost lost my voice screaming for my team. We won, 14-7, which was GREAT! lol, and the announcer guy kept getting all the players' names wrong, which was funny because he had a list of names right in front of him. Hahaha, and after the game, we went out to dinner, and at the restaurant, we saw a guy from the opposing team there with his family, and me, with my school shirt on, kept sticking out my chest every time they walked by, trying to get them to notice. I think they did, but they didn't want to say anything. Then the kid got a bloody nose and I felt real sorry for him. He needed a hug. But my parents wouldn't approve, and they drug me away before I would even have the chance anyway, so meh. Oh well. I hope he was okay...
So, from there, we tried to go bowling, but the lanes were all full (( What kinda bowling alley is full on a saturday night? lol)) so we tried going to play mini golf, but they were closed, so we tried going to the mall. Closed. My town sucks. Everything closes at 6! ON Saturday night!!! WTF? Anyway, so we went to Barnes & Noble because I'm a nerd like that, and I like books. Barnes & Noble is open til, like, 10 or something, so we went there and I chilled out around the fireplace reading Ellen's book and a book about voice technique, which I ended up buying (not Ellen, the voice one).
Then we went home and had cake, and I tried out my laptop until 2 in the morning. lol.
The end! Now it's Sunday, and we had to send my dad off to the airport to head out to hell in AK again. Hahaha! THat's FOUR ways now! lol. Then we went shopping a bit and I got some kareoke cds (yup, NERD) and, like, bedsheets and pillows. Yay. lol
Meh, pretty eventful weekend.
