This is just pointless, pointless writing drabble. xD This has no importance.

Small, tiny glowing stars fluttered down from the sky, waltzing gently with the wind before gathering hands and taking a bow once they reached the ground. It was, quite simply, one of the most beautiful things that she'd ever seen. There were only a few things like this that, outside, she considered to be so incredibly beautiful or something of the likes. It had always snowed back where she had been born, but then, it had never been comforting. It had only been bitterly cold and an awful reminder that she had nothing to keep herself warm except for the meager rags on her back. But now she could just stare up at the sky and all around herself, blowing out puffs of what she liked to call "dragon breath." She had no qualms against the snow for being so chilly to the touch. They were what they were, after all, and if it wasn't cold then they wouldn't be here at all.
"Otoooo!" A loud, impatient voice barked; disturbing the serenity in the air. Even the snow flakes seemed to shake a little bit more than usual, as if the voice had made them all stumble in their dance down from the cloudy skies. "Why are ya staring? I wanna get back inside! Huuurry uuup!"
Otonashi turned her strawberry-colored head over to look at her sister, smiling warmly before looking back up towards the sky. She didn't want to move. She just wanted to stand there and watch the snow peacefully waltz on by. She pressed her frozen fingers against her cheeks, letting out a slow breath of air. Then she turned around, half walking and half hopping through the snow back to where her sister was waiting. Fuzen let out a soft of whine, practically dancing in place either out of desire to get moving or to get more warmth into her body. The younger and gentler of the two arrived at her sister's side but, instead of continuing onward, she grabbed the other's hand. "Your hands are freezing!" Fuzen snapped back, weakly trying to pull her hand out of the smaller ones' grip.
"I'm sorry," she quietly answered, wrapping her free hand around Fuzen's before raising it up to her lips. She opened her mouth and started to slowly breathe outward, sending small waves of heat and melting some of the frost clinging to the hairs on her hand. "You don't like the snow?"
"I hate snow. It's pretty to look at and all," Fuzen stuffed her other exposed hand into her armpit, hunching over while she looked at captured hand. "But I'm a lover of heat."
"Yeah, me too." She gave a curt nod, sending some snowflakes rolling down her hair like flamenco dancers. "But I like snow, too."
"And I am still cold. I bet Mukiryoku is drinking all of the hot chocolate."
"Hmm..." Otonashi paused in her work before reaching past Fuzen's hand to grab her shoulder. Then, with a careful step, she closed the distance between her and her sibling for a hug. She rested her chin on Fuzen's shoulder, sighing contently and ignoring the sigh that was laced with annoyance from her sister.
"Such a cuddle bug..." Fuzen muttered before wrapping her arms around Otonashi's slender shoulders, leaning her head against hers in an almost practiced motion.
"Fuzen-chan?"
"Huh?"
"What do you think it's like to be...."
"...Be?"
"Snow."
"Uh, I dunno..." why exactly did Otonashi always ask these kinds of questions? And her of all people? She was the least likely to know. She spent the majority of her time trying to prank everyone. Well, 'cept for Oto. Eeeeveeeerytime she pranked the smaller girl she would get a feeble smile in response with those adorably pathetic cry-kitten eyes. Her lips were saying that she also found the prank amusing, but the eyes. Oh, the EYES. The eyes said: "I'm extremely hurt and I look like a wounded puppy half-starved on the side of the road and you just kicked me" in their own pitiful, heart-wrenching way. Damn those green eyes and their... tree-ish greenness. "I guess uh, cold?"
"Okay."
"Why you ask?"
"Someone once told me something about snowflakes." Otonashi answered, licking her dried lips and sinking a little further into her sister's shoulder. "But I can't remember what it was. I just remember that it made me sad and I wanted to cry because I felt bad for them. And every time I think about it, even though I can't remember what they said, it makes me feel bad as well."
"Who d'you think told you?"
"I guess my mama, or my papa, or... I guess whoever used to love me."
Fuzen remained still for just a few seconds, suddenly starting to feel the body heat from her sister that was seeping through her jacket. "Nobody can really 'used' to love. You either love somebody forever or y'just don't." She stated stubbornly, pushing Otonashi off of her shoulder and puckering out her bottom lip. "Our mama is Mama and whoever it was before wasn't your real mama or papa. And if anyone tries to ever take you away I'll rip their face off!"
Otonashi burst out into laughter, wrapping her arms around her own waist. Her bubbly lips curled upward for a bright smile, eyes sparkling.
"Whaaat?" Fuzen blushed in embarrassment and took a fat step away from Oto.
"No, no, no!" Otonashi reached out, latching onto her sister's arm and pressing her cheek against her sister's. "You made me happy."
"Yeah, yeah...."
"But I don't think that my future hubby would be very happy with you."
"Hmph. Ain't nobody gonna marry you. I'll spit fire and throw knives at 'em. All will know me as 'The Great a**-Kicker.'" Fuzen straitened her back to make herself just a half of a centimeter mightier. "Everybody will be so scared of me that they ain't gonna come near you and so y'won't get married and yer gonna die a virgin."
"I'll just get Muki to slip me out the back window. I'll go out to wild parties every night!" She whispered back, giggling before tugging her sister in the direction of their home. She smiled, rubbing her sister's frigid hands while snowflakes swirled around them. "I love you, Fuzen."
"Yeah, yeah, I love you too cuddle-bug."
