Dear Diary,
This is L speaking again. I've decided that it's time I stake my life on the Kira case. The NPA is as incapable as ever. Too many members. The Kira task force as all but disbanded. I am about to meet with what is left of the National Police Agency's Kira Task Force at a hotel room. (A HOTEL ROOM. Can you believe it? It's as if I have gone insane.)
I do believe 98% that this is a step in the right direction.
Regardless, I have given the instruction to the officers. As of right now, they are heading towards my room. It is only a matter of minutes before, for the very first time in years, I will have had face to face contact with anyone besides Watari and my successors at the Wammy House.
Times like these are when I truly begin to question my sanity.
