Are there any face packs available which make skin glowing? How would oatmeal be helpful?is it good for skin? by geeta111 in Health & Beauty When my children were younger, they had allergies to timothy grass and wild celery. 'Aveeno' helped them tremendously! It's an excellent natural herbal remedy for a lot of mild skin problems.
It's also good for the pores. Sounds funny, but make some oatmeal, and lightly apply it to the skin for a short time, say 5 min. rinse well. Grind up about 1/3 c. raw oatmeal in your blender, put it in your bath water and soak for about 10 min. It helps to stop itching, and does make the skin glow. Hope this helps you.

Oatmeal products are becoming increasingly popular today, mainly because it is organically grown and is nature’s way of spotlighting feminine beauty. Oatmeal is known to be hypoallergenic, cleansing, anti-inflammatory and absorptive. It is an edible cereal grass (avena sativa). It relieves dry skin and soothes itchy and irritated skin.
