Lately, the Q&F has been extremely negative. People have been voicing a great deal more negative feedback than usual about the mods, glitches, donation items what have you.
I find myself sympathizing with quite a few of them. Not the ones that voice their complaint "OMG GAIA SUX!!!111" mind you. But the ones who have a legitimate complaint.
Such as the item and inventory gitches that still haven't been resolved, and the gold glitch that still affects me partially.
Most of the well-spoken arguments seem to be complaining about a LACK OF COMMUNICATION from the admins and mods to them. Just a little not saying... this glitch is super-complicated to fix, but yes, we ARE still working on it and HAVEN'T forgotten about you... would make Gaians happier.
We have access to Lanzer's Work Diary and the Announcements forum and stickys and their journals and stuff for a reason. If they only get updated every two or three weeks... then their usefulness is moot.
I KNOW the admins and programmers are super-busy. I don't want them to take too much time out of their busy schedule to update the users. Just a sentence or two would suffice for a lot of us. It would let us know they're still around and listening.
I love Gaia, but I feel that some of the complaints about the Halloween event and the lack of communication during the event were completely justified.
It got better afterward, and it was nice of them to extend trick or treating and stuff... and FINALLY at the very end of it all, pratically, VO told us what was happening...
The Halloween event, even though it got better after Saturday, is still one of my least-favorite events. The fighting Gaians in the Q&F and the lack of communication still leave me disatisfied.
