Once again, I have edited, so I'm going to be going back and fixing the previous Journal entries. You should go back and read the fixes.
Elric "What kind of joke is this?" Izzie scoffed as she stepped in. "It's empty." "The Invisible Maze." Sorell supplied. "The walls are magical barriers that constantly move and change. Still, no matter how the walls change, there will always be a solution to the maze." He paused and furrowed his eyebrows, "However, there is an unseen guardian in this room that will only appear if he attacks. Once defeated, his body is rumored to turn in to a dust that should uncover the walls in this room and keep the shifting at a standstill." "How do we get out?" Isadora asked. "I mean, this is, in a sense, a living maze." "Well…" I began, feeling for the wall as I spoke, "There's a trick to mazes. If you keep your hand touching the wall and continue to move forward, you should be able to find the end of the maze." "What about when the walls change?" Izzie speculated to herself "Then just best of luck to you." Sorell decided. I found the wall and began walking. Within what felt like about two hours, the three of us had reached the end of the maze. There were minor skirmishes in the maze that allowed Izzie to exercise her skills with her blade. I got the opportunity to use my magic to break some of the creatures that appeared. A few of the creatures looked like the Butterflies. Others were similar to vipers, frogs, and scorpions and all were made of a glass-like material that shattered easily. However, none resembled the supposed guardian of the maze. "That was so easy. Those glass snakes were no match for a well aimed slash." Izzie sighed happily and bounded up to me at the exit of the maze with Sorell behind her. Something's wrong. That was too easy. As if on cue, Sorell spoke. "Don't let your guard down yet. Something's off." I brushed the icy handle to the handle of the next door, waiting for approval to open it. Sorell nodded and I proceeded.
Isadora El pushed open the door and I followed. Suddenly, Sorell stopped and grew quiet. The room was frozen in a double layer of ice and snow. "He's here. With the diamond powder" "This Diamond Powder has an accursed guard spell, so I waited here for you. Have fun with your retrieval of the last material. I guarantee I will win in the end. Hurry and don't keep me waiting." And with those words, the Dark One vanished. "Sorell," I whined, "what are we gonna do now?" "Get the powder and keep it out of the Dark One's hands. What else is there to do?" He sighed. "Let me explain this room. The black diamond powder is on the pedestal on the far end of the room. And do you see the black, white, and blue tiles on the floor that lead to the opposite end of the room? Once you step on a certain color, you cannot step on a different one. There is only one color of tile that's the right path, so it's in our best interest for everyone to pick a different color. If you want to change colors, just come back to the beginning of the pathway and start over. Magic by humans is deactivated in this room, so you can only use your physical abilities to traverse the floor." "Ok, so let's get started. I'll take blue." I took a step on to the blue tile and began making my way across the floor. "Well, I'll take white then." El decided. Sorell silently took the black path. The path was more difficult than imagined. For one, it was impossible to set your foot on the other colors without being thrown back to start. I tried to jump over a blue tile and tripped on to the black tile behind my goal. In an instant, a magical force pulled me and threw me back to start where Sorell and El stood laughing. "Are you alright?" Sorell asked. El threw a concerned look my way. "My butt hurts…" "Silly..." El smirked and held up the pouch of black diamond powder. "Wh-when did you get the… EL!! Why didn't you say anything? I'm working my butt off and suddenly you're next to me, holding the powder. I feel like a total idiot!" "I asked him to say something." Sorell laughed, "And I quote: No. She's too cute like this." El turned red and smiled and I hit him playfully on the arm. He's really not so bad after all.
