ok well today was the actual day for the competition! i had to wake up at like 4:30am just to be at school at 6. it was so dark outside we could see the stars. then we all left at the same time and arrived at the competition around 7. then we stood around and talked until the doors opened and we could go inside. once we got to our table me and isobelle looked around and most of the people there were really nerdy. like the people you would expect to play like total world conquest or whatever its called. then when the competition started, we had logic first. they messed up the quiz so many times like they had a lot of typos and they needed to clear a lot of things up. then we had individual subjects. mine is science. it wasnt too hard. i knew most of everything except for the tiebreaker questions. i finished kinda early so i felt like going to sleep but i thought i would get in trouble so i talked to annette. but the only time i got in trouble for talking was when i talked to briana. -___- then we finally had lunch! i had a roast beef sandwhich from final score. i loooove their food!! all the girls sat on one blanket and the boys sat on the other one. then after lunch i brought out this big bag of skittles. >W< haha then we had to go back in to our table for the superquiz part. we only missed 5 out of 50! and we didnt miss any from the section we had the most trouble with!! then in the end our score turned out to be 45. one of the teams in the front had a 50 but i dont believe that. i think their proctor was just messing around. its like practically impossible to get 50/50!! even my whole family thinks so! then after a while we all got our souvenir booklets of dectathlon and started signing everyones like we would never see them again. this girl from the other table asked for ryans number because she thought he was hot. he gave her his right cell number but he gave her the wrong area code. so she got kinda mad and said the number was bogus. goood times! cool after superquiz we had mass and there were like 2,000 people in the whole arena so you wouldnt understand how long it took to give everyone the eucharist. after mass we had the awards ceremony. we definitely got cheated this year. my dad thinks everyone on our team did good enough to place. he told me i should have gotten like 5th or something and ryan was like 7th. and im pretty sure conner and briana did good enough to place to. annette was 1st place to us though! and we got cheated in superquiz too. we should have gotten a place. but we didnt. and my sisters think they messed up and karma will come back to them or their conscience will eat them alive!!! i dunno, dont ask me. after the awards everyone was a little disapointed and mrs. rudzinski cried. during the awards i was trying to hold it in but isobelle asking every 5 seconds are you ok are you ok?? wasnt really helping. but once i saw my famly outside made me like let it out and just cry. :[ but i felt a little better at southpoint when we ate dinner. it was really fun! ill never forget decathlon~
