Weeeeelll, it's the start of a new week... again.... xD;
I bought Super Smash Bros Brawl yesterday. AND LORDY IS IT AWESOOOOOME.
I have to admit: when I first started playing the game I was disappointed. Zelda and Sheik's move sets are exactly the same as they were before. I was so excited for the new movements that they were going to do but it's the same as it was in Melee. -sighs- It's also harder to control your character and it's easier to knock your opponents off and vice versa.
Still, despite this, the game is fantastic. There's this freaking AWESOME one player mode called Sub-something-space-something. Ooooooh, so raaaaaaaaad...! <33333333 Basically it's like playing through a story and you do the whole side-scroll just like what happened with Adventure Mode in Melee. Except it's constant fighting and... well, just freaking awesome. I find it amusing that none of the characters actually say anything when they meet each other. They just kind of look at each other go: "LEZ ROCK" and start fighting together. xD
It looks as if my best character for this game is going to be Pit. He's the character with the angel wings and carries the bow. I personally didn't have any expectations for him and wasn't interested in him when I saw him. sweatdrop xD But it looks as if he's going to be the character that I'll specialize in. I am a little sad that I won't be using Sheik- okay, more than a little, but Pit is awesome. He is, in fact, my first main fighting characters that's a boy. xD! All of my others have been girls, unless you count Sheik as a man. He's not very fast while running but he has crazy attack speed- he breaks his bow apart and just like spins it around and shiz. He's also got fantastic jumping range. He jumps kind of like Kirby but uses his wings instead. Since they're not big enough he can only do so many jumps. But his Up-B move makes his wings glow blue and he can fly really, really far. Therefore, even though it is a little easy to knock him off of the stage, he can pretty much fly strait back from anywhere he's been thrown off. But I am missing my Sheik acrobatics. It's hard changing my fighting style. With Sheik I would basically run and jump around my enemy/enemies and constantly smacking them around. Needless to say it irritates the hell out of my opponents, LOL. I am in loooove with Sheik's jumping moves. Gaaaaah. -droools-
Ike is awesome too, but he's not fast enough and doesn't really move when you're using him. He is, however, crazy awesome. I'm also really happy about Link. He's fast enough and actually moves around when he's slashing his sword and has a pretty damn high attack power. I am struggling with the normal attacks, though. I'm so used to have Sheik clearing distance with his attacks (like his side A smash moves) that I keep on charging attacks, releasing them, only to remember just at that moment that the character stays in place and won't do something like jump or kick forward like Sheik would. It's messing mah stylz up yo! crying
After work... omg. I am sooo going to leap on Brawl. -droooools- I'm just hoping that I'll remember to do my Astronomy homework tonight. xDD;;; I also cannot WAAAAIT for using the Wi-Fi! I'll probably do it tomorrow. The Wi-Fi connection is too crappy for my Wii to pick up on it (and when it happens to do so it's reallllly slow) so I'm going to have to move it to the living room where the Wi-Fi box is. And then... it's go time. -evil caklez-
I actually had another intention for this journal entry. Unfortunately Brawl is so awesome it got kicked out and I can't remember what it was. xD
I've also been keeping a list of random things I notice about myself that I haven't shared or something with others. That way the next time I do an entry like that you all can actually learn stuff about me from it. xD;
And so with that: Toodle pip!
