But today was a good day. Hardly coughed at all. That could be because I wasn't home breathing in rust. It turns out the swamp cooler was rusting and blowing the rust into the air. Ugh. How do we know this? My older brother came over to put in an Air Conditioning unit. He works with an AC company so we got this fee 5 ton tran or something like that. So now I have a hole in my ceiling. *Looks sideways at the hole* My mom didn't want to be here while my two brothers, and my dad worked on the AC so her, my sister and I had a girls day out. We went to Borders, I got a Wolf's Rain manga (V.1) to go with my DVDs, then we went to a wallpaper place to order wallpaper for the kitchen. Then off to Tempe to go to one of my mom's stores, then to Planet Neo (an anime shop) and to Changing Hands Book Store, which is an okay place. Then to Costco. After that we got home around 5pm and stayed until 7 then we went out to the mall and stayed there for 2 hours. Just hanging around. I bought this cool hat. It's pinstriped and looks like something the mafia would wear. Or the women in the old black and white movies wore. I like it. hehehe. Got it at Spencers Gifts. I love being 18 now. These group of kids got told my some guy that was working there that you had to be 18 to look down this one aisle. Cool me! lol. It's odd, weirder then Hot Topic, it has sex stuff, band stuff, hippie stuff, dragon stuff, fairy stuff. It's just weird, but cool. I like it. lol. I did notice, and my sister noticed too, that I get looks from the guys. The guys from Hot Topic and Spencers Gifts. Oh well. *Grins* They're cute. Even my mom said when I was checking out from Spencers, she says "Amy, doesn't he look like Mason? From Dead Like Me?" I just looked at the guy who was blushing a bit and I just smiled and said yeah. It was just funny. When me and my sister walked in there the second time, (the first just to see what it was and only for a minute neither time did we walk in with my mom, she came later) he just said Hello to me, looking right at me and asked how I was doing. Smiled and said fine. lol. While the other worker in a cowboy hat just smiled, didn't say anthing to me about not looking down THE aisle, hm...I wonder why. *Grins and looks around* lol.
Hey, I can still flirt, right? Maybe I should ask my friend about that...hm. To me, flirting is something I like doing, which I wasn't sure how to. Still not sure how, I just smile at the guys and talk to them. Is that flirting or is that getting to know them? Oh well. Hm...Flirt all I want, just not interested in a boyfriend yet. First thing I want to do is get a job and figure out what I want to do when I'm older. Then I'll think about dating. Right now, all the guys I know are just friends. One is a really good friend of mine.
