This is my most favoritest poem ever! (since 7th grade at least)
Its by Robert Frost
(I wasn't able to put it in the tittle b/c there wasn't enough room )
As I wen t out a Crow
In a low voice said, "Oh,
How do you do?
I just came to tell you
To tell Lesley (will you?)
That her little Bluebird
Wanted me to bring word
That the north wind last night
That made stars bright
And made ice on his trough
Almost made him cough his tail feathers off.
He just had to fly!
But he sent her Good-bye
And said to be good
And wear her red hood
And look for skunk tracks
In the snow with an ax-
And do everything!
And perhaps in the spring
He would come back and sing."
I put this poem on a letter we had to write in school for our science teacher (whose leaving this friday T.T)
with a little something else that I wrote after the poem.
The poem actually works with all that's goign on with her leaving actually.
I mean:
1. Its winter in the poem and here
2. The leaving part adn coming back in the spring (except idk about the teacher part of this)
Basically Im going to miss her a lot...
she was the best teacher I've ever had (besides our 7th grade science teacher from a while ago)
And I'm speaking truthfully, so dont make fun of it!
jk, jk
But that is how I feel though...
*sighs*
Im sooo tierd right now and I still have HW to do...
