Today is 12/28/07.
I woke up at 5:30, remembered it was a school day, groaned, and went back to sleep.
Next thing I know it's 7:26. I bounce out of bed, thinking my mom overslept. I look out the window. It snowed. So I assume there's a two-hour late start.
I mozey on downstairs to do the daily chance. I sit down at the computer. There's already an internet page open.
It's the North Thurston School District homepage.
In red letters across it says:
All Schools Closed Due to Weather Conditions Today Due to snow and road conditions, schools will be CLOSED today, January 28. For more information please call the district information line at (360) 412-4401 or check back for future updates on the North Thurston Public Schools website at http://www.nthurston.k12.wa/ or go to http://www.schoolreport.org/ We apologize for any inconvenience but we want to ensure the safety of our students, families and staff!
And so here I am now. (Yes, I did copy and paste the message above.)
I don't have to go to school tomorrow either.
Cuz I'm going on a SOGO tour to Rochester.
