There are alot of problems facing mankind since Adam and Eve made such a mess of things all those years ago. Not just imperfection with horrid health issues and mental instabilities but even our sexuality can be affected. Your not by yourself in dealing with desires that go contrary to what God requires. There are many out there who deal with feeling torn, guilty and not knowing which way to live life. As a Jehovah's Witness I expect to be slammed royally for talking about my bible based views. But what I want most is for those who do take the time to read my posts or hear my words that they realize that I truly do love all people regardless of their lifestyle, background, etc. God didn't tell us to talk only to those who were favorable to what he said or even favorable in our own opinions. We're to talk to everyone and offer bible insights. If they accept it or not is up to them. But we're to be there and ready to talk about the wonderful things we've learned through our ongoing studies of the bible. The bible does have insightful scriptures on the subject of morality. Most of these scriptures gets butchered and twisted by those who don't want to listen. Most people want to follow their own opinions and views and this is nothing new. Thats okay because everyone has a right to make their own decisions and I accept that willingly and with all respect. But, if one understands their need for spirituality and they have homosexual feelings, they're usually in deeper conflict than those who have already made the decision to live as they want. Yes one does have to live celebate if they have those feelings and want to serve Jehovah. I can't vouce for any other religion because alot of them change their policies to suit their priests and parishioners too often. I am sorry if this causes a problem between you and I and the times we've talked. I too have issues that are ungodly that I deal with every day and even though I'm a baptized witness of Jehovah, I don't do everything right and more often than not, I fail where I should be strong. But I believe in my heart that God is a forgiving God as long as we try to do things his way. If we make a firm attempt to get to know him, he'll take care of the rest and help us out. I know the whole world is talking about the bibles unfairness. But the bible is the word of God and we were given life by God. We didn't give life to God and we can't on our own do anything to save our own future. But God can so it's worth it to look into what God requires of us. Please, if you'd like further answers to your questions contact the kingdom hall of Jehovah's witnesses near you. They'll be more than happy to come and talk with you, free of any charges and without adding any pressure. I hope to be able to talk with any of you further on this. It's not my desire to "change" you. Just my desire to talk with all of you.
