Moody Moon
Moon shines tonight,
Almost full,
Clouds, few,
Trying to hide her light.
Yet, more and more,
She shines,
And they, galore,
Enhance her beauty.
Silky, vaporous,
Draping, yet revealing,
As a scarf on a lampshade,
Softens ambiance.
In the warmth of the nightly summer breeze,
As I was walking home,
It seemed she was smiling;
Or maybe was it my mood, I could foresee.
