Settling into the soft, white sands, Sitara placed her offering softly at the waters edge, where the gentle waves lapped at her hooves. For a moment, she simply stood, listening to the quiet rhythm of the sea. Soon, she took a quiet breath, lifting her head towards the sky. She and Irridian had loved each other for years. Always apart but never truly distant, like the land and sea that shaped the world they shared. Their love had grown with them, deepening with time into something stronger then the boundaries that kept them apart. Yet there was one thing they could never truly have together- a child. Sitara had carried this quiet dream within her heart for years. A child that could slip below the waves and know the oceans the way their father did. A child that could walk with her in the warm sunshine, joining her family's loving embrace. A child born of land and sea, who belonged to both worlds... A star born of two worlds that was never truly meant to be.
“Stars above, please hear me. I bring you this offering, my greatest treasure. A necklace made from gifts my love carried to me from his world. Every piece holds a memory of him, of us, of the life we have shared.” Taking a deep breath, she summoned her courage. "I ask you to give us a child... Please."
Eyes fixed upon the necklace in the sand, Sitara lowered her head. She wasn't sure if she'd done it correctly. She didn't know if the stars were listening, or if her plea would move them. But, she had come here with the one thing she had left to give...
