Hallo! Welcome to my Soquili journal. A little about myself:
I have been active in the B/C since about 2008-ish, and for most of that time, I have either been either doing support work or coloring for various shops. At the moment, the only shop I am active in is Soquili, but at various times I have been active in the Lucky Noodle Shop, Dream Dancers, and various Warrior Cats shops.
I am in my 30s and I use they/them pronouns.
You may notice that most of my couples are self-pairings. This is mostly because of the way my muse works--I haven't been actively into roleplaying in a few years now, and my writing itch is scratched through writing prose fiction, and I've gotten into the habit of wanting to write both sides of a story instead of just one.
My favorite of my families are Megapi's family (Megapi, Bloodstone, Metawa, Cetex, and Nakshatra); Long Jon and Ullita (including Ullita's sister Risa and Risa's daughter Marion); Chizoba and Katlego (and Chizoba's familiar Okpokoro); and Martyn and Kwabena (including their daughter Hadiza; Martyn's familiar Milo; and Milo's children Orias and Marchosias). In general, I favor jewel tones; ocean- or fire-themes; spooky themes; cats, dragons, and invertebrates; Usdia, Seathi, Kalona, Kelpies, Ulun'suti, Mer, and especially Shifters.

Megapi looked up at the sky. He had had a life before this--he had had a mate. Had he had children? He couldn't remember anymore. He was getting new memories back every day, but it seemed like there was a dark haze over his life with his first mate. It was only this evening that he remembered her name. [i]Aurora.[/i] It had been--years--since he'd spoken her name, heard her laugh, seen her smile. His heart ached for her still, a forgotten wound that had long since healed now burst open to bleed once again.
Megapi looked up at the sky. There was a bright star in the sky, shining like a crystal in the dark. He recognized the star from legend. It was the wishing star. He stood, paralyzed, at the sight for several minutes before snapping into action. There was no time to waste--the wishing star would not remain in the sky forever. He stopped only to gather flowers in the woods--primroses, trilliums, violets. As he reached the top of the hill, he paused once again to weave them into a flower crown with his wolf form's more agile paws. Was that right for a wishing star offering? He didn't know. But he knew it was right for Aurora. He laid the crown at the crest of the hill and looked up at the star.
"Wishing star," he murmured, "I don't know if you can hear me--and I don't know if you are listening. But if you are, please--if Aurora has any descendants, please send them my way. I'd like to meet them. I'd like...some proof, that my memories are real. That I was different once, and that I wasn't...[i]born[/i] a monster. And I think, if they're descended from me, they'd like to know that I'm alive? If Metawa wanted to get to know me, I think they would want to know me as well." He shook away a tear. "And if you can't, then...send Aurora a message. Tell her...tell her that I still love her. And that I'm trying to be happy. She'd want that. And that I've made a friend." He looked at the ground and smiled. "Her name is Lilium. And I think she and Aurora would have gotten along very well."
He stayed on the hill a little longer, watching the sky as if he expected some sort of sign from the wishing star. There wasn't one, but by the time he turned to walk back down the hill, his tears had dried and his heart had lifted--at least a little bit.

Someone loyal, someone I can swim with, someone I can spend time with and not get bored--someone who makes me feel like there's something good in the world and that maybe, just maybe, I can accomplish something. It doesn't have to be some big friend, and it doesn't have to be a Soquili. Heck, I don't think I could put up with a Soquili--just send me some other kind of friend. Someone to share my estuary with. That's all I'm asking for, wishing star. A friend."
