• Behind my eyes
    I feel this pain
    It throbs, and aches
    Yet it never goes away
    I don't know what to do
    Should I ice my head?
    Or let it burn?
    It's constantly there
    Yet it lingers in the back
    Is it the reason
    WhyI writhe?
    Orjust an allergy.
    I stand in silence
    To just listen
    All I hear
    Is the beating
    Of my headache
    So powerful and strong
    It takes just one thought to start
    And the agony begins.
    Mytears swell
    Warm on my face
    As my headache grows
    The fetile position
    Is my new best friend
    I curl up to take the pain away
    Bury my head in my hands.
    Lying there alone.
    As light makes it worsen.
    The pain faces me,
    But I turn my head away.
