What is pink? A rose is pink
By a fountain's brink.
What is red? A poppy's red
In its barley bed.
What is blue?
The sky is blue
Where the clouds float through.
What is white? A swan is white
Sailing in the night.
What is yellow? Pears are yellow,
Rich and ripe and mellow.
What is green? The grass is green,
With small flowers between.
What is violet? Clouds are violet
In the summer twilight.
What is orange? Why, an orange,
Just an orange!

Yaaaaay oranges~
Speaking seriously though, this is a great children's poem; I can picture the illustrations that would go along with every line on each page. Even despite the lack of hefty, esoteric diction, there is still plenty of imagery to be found. The poem is by no means a children's-ONLY poem, however: I found it quite enjoyable.
There is still a bit of work you could do on this poem (when ISN'T there, y'know? When does the work end? xD), but as it is now, I hope you don't mind a 4/5. - Report As Spam
