• Oh, sweet Death, why are you so kind to me?
    You come to me when I am sad and comfort me with soothing thoughts.
    You tempt me with promises of truth and peace.
    "When were they there for you?" you ask "I've always been here for you."
    "They lie, I'm your only true friend." you console "and you know what to do if you wish to be with me forever."
    Always there for me in my time of sorrow, picking me up and luring me closer to you.
    A faceless crowd stops me before I walk in to my Angel of Darkness's embrace.
    "Have you forgotten us?" they question
    "You've forgotten me!" I reply "I have to scream for any of you to hear me!"
    "We've always heard you." but by then Death has covered my ears and wrapped his cold arms around me.
    "We love you and always have." the tear-filled crowd confessed as sweet Death carried me away.
