• Tiny little princess,
    Pretty little thing,
    Was like a little flower,
    A little flower in Spring.

    Tiny little princess,
    Sat upon her chair,
    Waiting just to see,
    What desert Cook had prepared.

    Tiny little princess,
    With ever wide eyes,
    Saw put upon her plate,
    A slice of berry pie.

    Tiny little princess,
    Took a little bite,
    Then the princess gasped,
And ate the rest with pure delight.

    Tiny little princess,
At night lay in her bed,
    Staring at the ceiling,
Thoughts of pie filling her head.

    Tiny little princess,
    Crept along the halls,
    And came upon the kitchen,
To find the biggest joy of all.

    Tiny little princess,
    Stared with eyes so wide,
    For along the back wall,
Was stacks and stacks of pie.

    Tiny little princess,
    Tore into the pie,
    And that little princess,
    Ate every pie that night.

    Tiny little princess,
    Pie was all she ate,
    Until the tiny princess,
    Went from a size 2 to a size 28.

    Tiny little princess,
    Her waistline growing more,
Just sat and ate in her bedchambers,
    Pie stacks covering her floor.

    Tiny little princess,
    Wasn't so tiny anymore,
Yet pie was all she wanted now,
    More and more and more.

    Tiny little princess,
A big blob now, you see,
Was standing at the top of the stairs,
    When suddenly she sneezed.

    Tiny little princess,
Her fat rolls shaking from her sneeze,
Made her wobble and finally fall,
    Falling upon the king.

    Tiny little princess,
    bounced down all those stairs,
    The king bouncing down too,
    Unfortunately, under his only heir.

    Tiny little princess,
    Was now the newest queen,
Her subjects well away from her,
    Fearful of her sneeze.

    Tiny little princess,
Or fat queen now, we should say,
    Learned an important lesson,
Made clear from that famous day.

Perhaps it was not best to indulge so much,
    Perhaps it was not good.
Perhaps pie was not so healthy,
And stay from it she should.

    So tiny little princess,
    Went on a healthy diet,
    And soon grew tiny again,
And talk of her fat grew quiet.

    But no one would forget,
How the princess once was wide as the sky,
    And how everything had started,
With that little slice of pie.

    Hopefully she won’t discover cake.
