Time Goes By So Slowly

• Description: I wrote this poem when my grandfather died several months ago. It was my way of getting rid of the emotions I just couldn't place.
  
  I know it doesn't rhyme or anything, and it isn't my best poem ever. But to me it is.

When someone you love dies
Your whole world falls apart
You can't breathe, you can't eat
Your eyes are aching from the tears you have shed

You don't know what to do anymore
It feels like your stuck
You're lost, confused, still in denial
"It's not true, it's a lie".

Untill you realize it's reality
And he is really gone, and not coming back
Time goes by so slowly,
Hours seem like days, and minutes are like hours

Sadness, sorrow, pain
Feelings you can't find the words for
Everything seems so useless, nothing matters anymore
So many thoughts running through your head


But you know, life goes on,
Not matter how much your heart aches
You know that he is a better place
Watching over us from up there
