• The mask covers my face,
    covers my entire body.

    His mask covers his face,
I spot his loose, crazy, and adorable curls from across the floor.

    Everyone has their masks on,
    I don't know who's who anymore.

I try to make my way towards him,
I try to keep his curls in perspective.

    I loose him!
I can't see him anymore, can't find him any longer!

All because the mask got in my way...
this mask that was put on me.

I rip off the mask and run across the floor,
    my vision no longer blurred.

    People stare.....but I don't care anymore.
Stare and whisper all you want!

I'm right were I wanna be,
    standing next to him.

    Face to face,
    no mask in between.

Society's mask is no longer on me.
