You take a few steps forward
You turn and still look back
The pain you thought you left
The memories erased
The loves that you once held
The happiness and joy
Was all a big mistake
Because each time you got back up
You had to fall back down
And shed those tears of pain
And look into yourself
And some how stand back up
And do it all again
You take two steps forward
Maybe more
Only to fall
Only to learn
How to be strong
