Every night before I go to sleep,
I lie on my bed and stare up at my blank walls.
I try to imagine the future,
But right now,
It is as blank as those walls.
All I can see is a past,
A past I barely even recognize.
All I can see is a past,
My past,
My past I long to forget.
Every night when I stare up at my walls,
I try so much to remember,
I try so much to forget.
The past I always see isn't gone,
Not from my own mind.
The past I always see isn't gone,
It hasn't left my thoughts.
As I stare I remember,
All of the things,
I want to forget.
Those walls are blank.
Only for now they stay that way.
But I shall rebulid it,
Rebulid with my own future.
At last those walls shall be filled,
With a future of my own.
A future you haven't planned out,
Will be mine forever.
It will erase the past.
When I stare up every night,
I'll finally be able to understand.
