It longs for a hand
To squeeze it
Make it warm
Ignition’s lit
Let it fly
The silver piece
Into the skull
Upon Release
Quiet unbroken
As hours pass
Laying down
It rests at last
Fluttering inside
Blood’s flow
No drop spilt
Upon the snow
Cold tears drip
Frozen in place
She would wipe
From his face
Knowing words
All too true
From her to him
Life anew
And so it ends
Night’s new lie
Her eyes meet his
In joy they cry

- Title: Why she cries
- Artist: Tala Wolblood
- Description: Written while thinking of a conversation with someone very dear to me. They are one of the reasons why I wake up in the morning, and just the slightest though of being without them made some thoughts rise that inspired this poem. Again, probably not too great, but eh, maybe someone will like it.
