• another day is here again
    the air is warm and clear again
    i finally lack the fear felt when
    week two of may has come

    todays a day to thank the girl
    who housed fed taught and spanked her girl
    who insisted on finding that special pearl
    you saw it all along

    you took on a thing that was hard to do
    you took on a challenge not intended for you
    three more kids plus the origional two
    wow, what a heart youve got

    you'll never replace mom, or who she was
    but im happy to celebrate because
    today in heaven there rings a fuss
