-
Danger sleeping innocent within the bed of young,
tender dreams of sweet, but danger hand begun.
A bite quick, yet painless, his poisoned blood runs red,
the mother woke quite early, somehow filled with dread.
She hastened to the child's room, he made no little peep,
little did she know, this was forever sleep.
Not knowing of her loss, the mother left her child,
but still she felt that dread, although it was now mild.
With shining eyes a-glowing, the killer slunk away,
to hide within the shadows, only one would die that day.

- Title: The Cradle of Poison
- Artist: Onyx Zhentarim
- Description: I saw this picture of a rattlesnake in a baby's cradle, and it inspired me to write this. It is sadistic...but I like it.
