It’s the need
The natural instinct
A hunter and prey complex
The survival
It’s the longing
The emotional clutch
The drive of life
And all creation
It’s the wanting
A hidden desire
In plain sight
That lures innocent souls
It’s the mental pull
The physical push
A dive into deep waters
A gratification
It’s the taste
A sip of the poisoned wine
The bitter sting
That makes the craving irresistible
It’s the pain
The aftermath
The incinerated paradise
The lost ecstasy
That rips kind hearts to shreds
It’s the fangs of lust
Sinking deep under skin
That draws out rationality
And replaces it with thirst
…and it’s called love

Description:
Love, in its natural habitat.
The animal-like nature of love is what eats people alive. It's what makes it so undeniably irresistible. People will go to insane levels just to have it. - Date: 01/07/2010
