Crystalized water falls from the sky,
Silence sweeps through the house
Only the wind blowing rapidly against the house is heard
For this night is different...this night is particular
Children settled and weary
Turn their heads to the pillow
Slowly lose themself in search for the morn'
A surprise await their delighted eyes
The clock strikes twelve,
The house is still silent
Oh but what is this...
Soot from the chimey?
There is a thud
Then the house goes quiet again...
One red charcoal-covered boot reveals itself
Then another...
My who is this stranger?
This Jolly ol' fellow?
Could this be him?
Could this be Saint Nick!?
The Red cheeked man dusts himself off
He smiles, and with a whip of his coat, a black sack appears
Present after present he unveils
Carefully laid under the tree they await
A treat remains untouched on the counter
The weary, jolly fellow, sweeps them up
Knowing his work is done, he takes one double check
He takes his leave
The morn' shall come
The children shall see
What wonder has happened here
What a wonder to be

- Title: A Christmas Poem
- Artist: Artemis Eryxion
- Description: Last year I wrote a Christmas poem. Not a very good one in comparison to my others. That poem showed me how much i've grown as a writer in the last year. So, this year im writing another, and next year lets see how much better i've gotten.
