• The Oceans Queen

    A ship sails away from port and from me.
    On that ship is my ocean queen
    Her jet black hair and piercing bright green eyes scan the horizon and the trembling sea
    I hope that she'll return soon back to the port and to me
    For although I know the seas her love
    And her heart belongs not to me
    I can not wait to see her flag oh what a joy it brings
    The silver waves leap up for her and oh how the strong wind blows
    They sing her a song to help her along where ever she may go
    Pushing her father out to sea
    My beautiful ocean queen
    Do you not see my love for you?
    It has built to a roaring wave
    It beats against my chest and heart the longer your away
    It was a dark and stromy night when I heard the news
    Your ship has crashed against the rocks
    Your body never found
    I mourn the passing of the ship
    But I know youre safe and sound
    The ocean has taken back its queen
    I whisper to the ground
    He was jealous He was jealous because of me
    If I had not loved her so, she would would still be on the sea
    But I do not cry for you
    Because I know for sure
    You are safe and sound my dear
    In the waves gentle hold
    While I stand alone on the shore.
