Modern Martyr
You're a modern mother Mary
System calls to the edge distortion
To Sunday school shouldn't tarry
Just another heartfelt abortion
Opening the can of worms the crow
Strangling ponds of false reflection
As the martyr head begins to glow
Worshiping the old, yet new direction
Seems just a bit contrary to call yourself a hero, when all you are is all you see inside of you, inside of me. Your my middle man of popularity, streaming video consciousness to the mind of disparity. King me my queen, deem me unseen, don't hesitate to procreate the proclamation of a devastated kingdom.
Break out of the shell, martyr king
Cast aside those notions of splendor
And humble yourself in render
Queen me my indefatigable thing
Inexcusable promotion for lies
Stealing the mist of night from all
Those lost in hindsight beg to fall
Counting bills as the blood paint dries
Watch what you do in the spot light, limelight forthright to beg a contemplation plead your case from defamation of the flag, your cross, your symbol of decay fades away as you ascend a whole new martyr for the people to fight harder against your glance as you cry: It's only a circumstance! disheveled clot romance, dancing with the wood you tied to brotherhood. It's all but naught for good, you scream loud as though we should.
Rising mounted sermon
comforting the classes
calls for revolution
denying all impasses
Accepting no compromise
The alpha leads his strays
Crumbling historical worth
Forgotten pariah end of days
I am the judge, adhere to the smudge you've brought to our society, rise from alacrity caustic new sense almighty condensing the intrusion to a state of mass confusion, penetrating the rank and stifling the tank the borderline chasm sought to introduce the schism. Just a simple star, hiding coup d'etat, in your rambling eyes, stabbing from the skies.
Hang him high, cast him dead
This lawless tramp, we'll have his head
He sought to fight the system
But we'll use him for our mysticism
Transfer the documents of discontent
To use this toy martyr to repent
Return the people to our side
What we've done we easily hide
Behind the suited glamour crafted in the bishop's chamber on nights he cannot read which ends in all he tries to knead into a mold this captive hold a crumbling superstar who went too far. Another radio Jesus, puppet to lie and tease us who hides the old behind a veil of new be so bold as to tell us true. No! that would kill us all we need to fall from eyes of grace illusion disgrace rediscover the feeling of no other that is to be deceived and bereft of having to decide for yourselves as you drift in a pool of ignorance reprehensible stench of defeat mistake forever to repeat.
You're a modern sister Mary
Whore for the newscasters
Unkempt loosened loving fairy
Giving in to cryptic masters
The answer is in the book
That one you have hidden well
Don't believe me? Take a look
In the end there is no hell
Incubation for new order, changing of the guard is never very hard when all you have to do is brush away the new and paint over the taint, all these factions erect dissection of atrophy are not a change of fates but of a different plate. The look is all that goes, but the old path slowly grows and feeds atop your skull, making you the martyr hull so the few can hold control of everyone in whole.
Cry to me my people free
I've washed away the sins of old
Flock to my staff and we shall see
The paths that have yet to unfold
Erect the cross to recall the lost
This symbol we have never seen
In the fire lake the old is tossed
That hidden new with secret sheen
And so another union rises from the ashes of the past and wears those thick disguises a change of colors oh so fast. Drenched in the salts by the hand of some god, and all that we fought for is blasted to sod. the weaned little child is aborted so fake, the new martyr of today his life they will take. Put him on the pedestal that was built from the bones of his kind, control him and kill him to bend our weak minds.

- I love the structure, it is very oringinal. the message though... I'm not quite sure how to respond. Its powerful, and although the poem is long, your message is hear. Great job. I hope to see more from you.
