There's nothing wrong with me,
Everyone just needs to see.
In my land of make believe,
No one beleives in me.
They say home is where your heart is,
Well that's a shame, because everyone's
Heart doesn't beat the same.
Mine's beating out of time,
And I don't care.
The way she loves,
The way she cries.
The beauty in her eyes,
Shows the way she tries.
Together we had loved,
Together we had fell.
But now our love,
Is burning in Hell.
When the day had come,
I fell so low to regret.
We went our ways,
And I never reset.
Now I'm falling,
Spiraling down.
Never to recieve,
Any type of crown.
For what has happened,
I will never forget.
The way that she,
Had left in the sunset.
I keep pondering,
The meaning of life.
And always come up with,
Something with a knife.
The knife has symbolized,
Something I believe.
That none of my goals,
will ever be achieved.
- Title: Love is Gone
- Artist: zero1039
- Description: This is a poem I wrote in the seventh grade, so it isn't quite "up to standard", but I figured I'd submit it anyway. And yes, the beginning does sound a bit like Jesus of Suburbia, but it was completely unintentional.
