I put on my mask
so they can't see my pain
I put on my mask
so that they believe I am sane.

I put on my mask
just so I can make a friend
I put on my mask
when the world seems it's about to end

I put on my mask
just to hide my tears
I put on my mask
so it will chase away my fears

I put on my mask
to think I'm something worthwhile
I put on my mask
so I'm strong enough to face my rivals

I put on my mask
just to fool myself in the mirror
even though I know
without it the world seems too much clearer.

this poem says so much, like for one thing i think everyone puts on a mask at least once in their life and for another it says to find yourself when ever the mask is pulled out. nice work i luv 5/5
