What you say is just a lie,
You say I’m bound torn and tied.
But I say you’re the ones enslaved,
Serving a god born from a cave.
No power has he given me in all my years of service,
Now he condemns me, I guess I deserve it.
Sweet acid drains the lily drops,
Broken dreams and lollipops.
So many wonders have gone unknown,
Still I rather hell my home.
So many times I hoped and saw,
But little did it matter.
Now look past your blinded faith,
The real truth is mine to see,
Broken from your shackles,
As the darkness sets me free.
