i am the shadow everyone pretends not to notice
im invisibel to all who choose not to see me
i see everyone and how their selfishness overcomes them
i see the anger in people that others would not bother to notice
i am the outcast
the shadow no one wants to become
i am the twisted torment of the youth
shuting up and taking whatever their elders dish out
i spoke back, i retaned my dignity
and i chose to rebel
i choose my own path
they finally gave up
they looked away and i stared them down
i am now the shadow everone does not want to admit they once knew
they walk over me
i am the lost cause
part of a minute lost generation
i am the shodow of your thoughts
i am the shadow of your life

wow. i can relate to you. your messege in the poem seems to be that you suffer in silence cuz you lost hope. i could be completely wrong... i suck at themes. but i like your poem. its what i went through. i know everyone goes through phase at least once in life.
