Four years ago,
we said our goodbyes.
now I look back,
why didn't I cry?
The years were long
without your smile
I thought of it
every once in a while.
My life went on
with a little less light,
because without you there
nothing felt right.
Laughs ment nothing
but they couldn't tell.
Life without you
turned into my hell.
Everyday I looked
wishing you'd return,
but you never would,
a sad lesson to learn.
Nothing got better
no one could understand,
I was spiraling down
and might never land.
The years went by fast
after you went away
now I regret I didn't
ask you to stay.
When you first left
I didn't cry,
but now I wish
that I would just die.

Description:
Full Title is "Saying Goodbye Shouldn't Hurt This Much Four Years After The Fact"
I wrote this four years ago, and I repost it in a blog after a year has passes adding a year to the title and the first line. I wrote this because someone very special to me left, and we hardly ever spoke again. I miss them very much even after all this time. - Date: 02/14/2009
