You leans across the table,
To whisper in my ear,
I already know what it's about,
And at the end I shed a tear.

You say that we must end,
It can't go on anymore,
And as you said those words,
My heart gave way and tore.

I thought about the things we did,
The things we did together,
I thought way back to the time when,
It was you and me forever.

And as I come back to reality,
I suddenly realize what this is about,
This isn't about you or me,
This about your friends and their doubts.

So here I am right now,
Sharing with girls out there,
Some day you may just find out,
Your boyfriend doesn't care.
