Today a friend and a foe
gather here and act as
friends. As if not knowing
what the future will deliver.

Today a friend and a foe
will fight over what to
do, loyalty or betrayal.
witch profitable, and witch not.

Today a friend and a foe
battle over pointless ground.
Only over who will win,
the bloody battles rage.

Today a friend and a foe
will meet a mach,
and will only marvel over
how to overcome it.

Today a friend and a foe
put aside their differences
and work together to
achieve a goal, despite how
much they disagree.
