-
Twirling faster,
Spinning ‘round and ‘round,
She dances gracefully along the stage.
The subtle scent of jasmine hangs in the air,
And she pirouettes across the floor.
She’s a ballerina;
She’s a force of nature;
She’s unstoppable.
The audience gapes,
Stunned
Into a reverent silence:
Even the music is forced to soften.
It is as if the world is muffled and
Mute.

- Title: A Ballerina

- Description: This is a poem I wrote for school, and surprising as it is (since school rarely supplies actual inspiration for any creative work) I ended up really liking it. If you read it please comment and rate it!

I good, though I've read some like it, especially She’s a ballerina;
She’s a force of nature;
She’s unstoppable.
I've read that often - Report As Spam
