Father Home Again
By Jaime
The horses ran toward the barn.
Clitter-clatter,clitter-clatter,clitter-clatter.
My father tied them up.
Then I heard some footsteps.
Pitter-patter,pitter-patter,pitter-patter.
As I filled his coffee cup.
My dad was home again,
And I would make sure that he never,
Went to war again,
But stayed home forever.
