Blood flows like a river
tears fall ten fold
a loved one has past
as we stand covered by darkness
we watch as his grave is being filled
all our hopes & dreams for tomorrow fall
beneath the earth on which his body now lies
our hearts once flew now sink deep into our souls
as we say farewell my friend
till we met again in paradise
as we part our separate ways we will remember
all of the days we shared under the bright sun
and in our dreams you shall live again
and each night we shall dream of you my friend
