Raining outside,
and I'm hurting without,
I need someone to confide,
please don't leave me out?
In the library,
I've been reading,
another character's hurting,
and I cry to the contrary.
She's not real,
she cannot feel,
yet I want her to heal,
this book I cannot seal.
outside it's raining,
so I stay here and read,
I grab a snack to feed,
I'm not here complaining,
but I need somewhere to hide,
someone to confide,
not someone to ride,
please help me hide?
In this book I'm reading,
it's hard and makes me cry,
I feel my heart bleeding,
for this character upon I scry.
Back from this book,
I cannot bear to look,
for this author has me shook,
she's caught me with her hook.
For every turn I take,
I feel that much less real,
I feel that much more fake,
do I have a heart to feel?
- Title: Lost in a Phantasy
- Artist: Hawkbri
- Description: based on how I used to feel, of how I used to be, and how I now feel. when I'm lost in a book, the Siren of Phantasy chains me to that book, and until I complete it, I cannot let it go, I cannot stop reading.

the only times I have ever tossed a book down, and cursed it, is if it sucks, or is "too perfect".
If you EVER read a Mercedes Lackey novel, you will understand what I felt sometimes. you cannot EVER stop reading one of her Valdemar books. - Report As Spam
