My childhood was a blurred mixture of imaginary worlds and enchanting creations
I was a bird-when I saw an open sky I just flew away
Disappearing into a daydream
Like my lunch time sandwiches, my days were packed with bologna
I frequently lost myself in fantasies
Where I was constantly filled with delight on my adventures to far away castles,
Never resting long enough to be bored
When occupied with magical jungles, I was swept away from reality
I escaped life as much as possible
I loved my fantasy worlds,
I found peace when I could go anywhere, and do anything
The moment I entered my make-believe world, I no longer had to pretend to be something I wasn’t
I had no secrets.
