Wintry winter winds blow
And snow falls lazily low
Each flake burns coldy on my skin
Each gust of wind bites at my face
Unforgiving cold rampages on and on
Liquids freeze solidly on the ground
Stumbling and sliding I carry on
Arctic winds sway the snow covered trees
And the sun is nowhere to be found
In sub-zero temperatures the day remains
The nighttime colder than the daytime
And I struggle through several feet of white snow
That will remain till the sun sheds tears of joy
Only the sun would fain shine
To subside the numerous pounds of useless snow
Only the sun would cease the bitter winter
To begin a season anew

- You are quite the poet, I find nothing wrong about this piece and you use figurative language tools quite effectively. ∞/5

- It is a good work because it's seasonal and the timing is appropriate. 5/5
